How to install Stremio addons on Android TV with Tevium

Tevium lets you install Stremio addons right on your Android TV. Here is how to add addons, browse catalogues and set up debrid.

Tevium brings Stremio addons to Android TV without a separate app. Here is how to install addons, browse their catalogues and connect a debrid service.

What are Stremio addons?

Stremio addons are small services that provide content to the Stremio protocol. Some addons provide catalogues, such as Cinemeta, while others provide streams. They are installed by URL, and Tevium speaks the same protocol.

Step 1: Open the Addons section

From Tevium's home screen, open Addons.

Step 2: Install an addon by URL

Choose Install addon, then enter the addon's manifest URL. The manifest URL is the link the addon author provides, usually ending in /manifest.json.

Step 3: Browse catalogues

Once installed, the addon's catalogues appear in the Addons section. Browse movies and series, open detail pages, and play streams.

Step 4: Add a debrid service

If you use real-debrid or a similar service, add your debrid details in the addon settings. Tevium then resolves streams through your debrid account, which usually means faster, more reliable playback.

Step 5: Save to your library

Add anything you want to keep to My List, and Tevium tracks what you have watched and where you left off.

Frequently asked questions

Which addons should I install first?

Cinemeta is a good default catalogue addon and is often the starting point. After that, install the addons your debrid service recommends.

Do Stremio addons work alongside my IPTV playlist?

Yes. Your live TV and your Stremio addons live side by side in Tevium, in one interface.

Is installing addons safe?

Install addons only from sources you trust, exactly as you would in Stremio. Addons can request access to catalogues and streams, so stick to well-known ones.
