Frequently asked questions
The short version: Tevium is a player, it supplies no content, and it works with the playlists you already have.
What is Tevium?
Tevium is an IPTV player for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV. It plays live TV, the electronic programme guide (EPG), catch-up, movies and series from the IPTV provider or playlist you already use, and it can also install Stremio addons.
Does Tevium provide any channels, movies or streams?
No. Tevium is a player only. It does not provide, host, or distribute any TV channels, streams, movies, or series. You connect your own IPTV provider subscription, M3U playlist, or Stremio addons.
What devices does Tevium support?
Tevium supports Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV and Android phones and tablets running Android 6.0 or newer. It is designed primarily for the big screen and the remote control.
How do I add my IPTV provider?
On first launch, choose your source type (Xtream Codes, M3U playlist, or Stalker/MAC), enter your provider details, and Tevium loads your channels, logos, EPG, movies and series automatically.
Can I use an M3U playlist instead of Xtream Codes?
Yes. Tevium supports Xtream Codes logins, M3U playlists, and Stalker/MAC sources, and you can manage multiple playlists at once.
Does Tevium work with Stremio?
Tevium can install compatible Stremio addons, browse their catalogues and play the streams they provide. Debrid services require an appropriately configured addon and your own service account. Addons are separate from your live TV playlist.
How is Tevium different from TiviMate?
Tevium matches the core live TV and EPG experience while adding Stremio addon support, Dolby Vision and HDR, auto frame rate, VOD disk caching and more. See the full side-by-side comparison.
Is my data safe?
Account sign-ins use encrypted token storage on Android. If you enable sync, Tevium processes your provider details and viewing state to restore them on your other devices. Stored provider credential records are encrypted on the server. See the privacy policy for the full details.
Does Tevium have cross-device sync?
Yes. Sign in to sync your playlists, addon setup and supported viewing state between devices. Sync is optional and your account dashboard lets you manage the configuration.
Is Tevium free?
Yes. The core player is free. Full feature access is US$1.99 monthly, US$15.99 yearly or US$39.99 with a one-time lifetime purchase. Paid plans cover five devices. See Pricing for the plan details.
