Tevium sync: your setup, ready on another device
Bring playlists, addons and supported viewing state across devices with a Tevium account and manage the setup from the website.
Setting up a second TV should not mean typing every provider URL again. Tevium account sync brings your playlist and addon setup, plus supported viewing state, to another signed-in device. Your dashboard also lets you manage the configuration from a phone or computer.
What sync brings across
Supported configuration includes playlists, channel organisation, favourites, EPG sources and addon URLs. Per-profile viewing state can include resume points, watchlist entries and watched episodes.
Use it when adding a bedroom TV, replacing a streaming box or organising a long playlist with a keyboard. Media still streams from its source; the account service is not a channel relay.
Sign in without typing on the remote
Use the phone-based device-link flow. Open the link or QR code on your phone, sign in and confirm the TV. The app receives its own session.
In Settings > Account, choose whether to use automatic sync and review its latest status. Sign in with the same account on another device to bring across the supported setup.
Keep household viewing separate
Profiles keep favourites and viewing state distinct. A shared account does not mean every viewer has to use the same watchlist or continue-watching entries.
When reorganising playlists on more than one device, let one sync finish before the next set of edits. For a substantial reorganisation, keep a private backup too.
How your data is handled
Sync is optional. When enabled, provider credentials and configuration reach Tevium over HTTPS. Stored provider credential records use server-side encryption and account checks control access. The server can decrypt those records for authorised operations, so this is not end-to-end encryption.
Read the privacy policy for the data involved and your choices. Manual JSON backups can contain provider passwords: keep them private.
A lost or retired TV
Open Account > Security on the website to revoke app sign-ins. You can also delete your account and associated live-database data there. Logging out of a TV clears its local account session.
